Dragon Force 65 Inaugural Race Thursday 08/02/2018

The Dragon Force 65 is on trial at Norwich Model Yacht Club.

Seven boats turned up to the first race despite  Duncan and Harry not being able to attend because of traffic problems and Keith being on holiday ( some just don’t get priorities sorted !!!).

The wind was  SW  ish and variable light.  An A+ rig was  favourite.

Vinnie showed his class from the start and won every race except one.

The real scrap came for second between Alan and Eric  with Eric fluking race 3 to pip Alan by just 2 points.

An enjoyable day was had by all and  the consensus felt that the little boat is easy to get on the water, difficult to sail well, sensitive to adjustment  and requires non-stop concentration. All of which should improve our sailing of the larger boats.
